Sikh Calendar 2025 January. The sikh calendar is called the nanakshahi calendar and takes its name from guru nanak, who founded sikhism. In january 2002 the shiromani gurdwara parbandak committee, amritsar, punjab decided the issue over the sikh calendar and has adopted the new nanakshahi.
